4.3 v6 into 1996 Camaro? Will it fit?

The car has a 3.8 in it now but needs a new motor. I would like to know if the 4.3 would fit without any problem? ThAnks for looking.

No it will not fit. The V8 Camaro is designed around the LT1, THe LT1 does not have a distributer or a Thottle body like a 4.3. It is possible to make it fit but you better have a machine shop in the back yard for all the custom work you would have to do.

The 3.4 is a 60 deg V6 with multi point fuel injection. Yes like all fuel injected cars it has a throttle body on it but it not a throttle body injection system like the 4.3 has. You will not be putting a 4.3 in a 4th gen unless you are the kind of guy that can put v8 in a Chevette . Course if you are you would not e here asking if it is possible.

it might fit and then it might not ! if you want my advice your better off to drop a 3800 v6 in it ! a 4.3 might fit but too much changing around ! a 3800 v6 would be a better idea !
