45th anniversary 2012 camaro
 

In celebration of the camaro being around for 45 years, chevy is selling a special edition 2012 camaro. what do you guys think of it?

I like it...a lot!

I like the 45th car, but I decided to keep the money for the package and get an LS with inferno orange paint.

I got a basic car with a 6 speed standard, and added the 18" 1lt wheels, those black wheels did nothing for me.

i traded in my 2010 ss/rs red jewel coupe yesterday on a 45th anniversary ss convertible. i absolutely LOVE IT!!! the paint is killer, the graphics are sick, the interior is sweet, i have nothing bad to say about it.

when i saw it online, i thought eh, not too fond of the gray/red stripes. when i went and saw it in person i was HOOKED!! got the 2010 appraised, beat em down on the 45th, and ended up picking it up 2hrs later.

dont get me wrong i loved the red jewel color, but this carbon flash metallic is just out of this world!!!

I think I'm going to make my own 45th car, I'm going to 45th stripe my inferno orange car and add the badges.

I did want a 45th car until I saw the carbon flash in person, not to say it isn't a nice color it's just not me, I would have loved if they used the cyber gray on those cars instead of the carbon flash, the carbon flash is just too dark for me

totally disagree.. when clean, and in the sun, the color is stunning. i looked at an inferno orange convertible, and its just way to "orange" i think they should have used a burnt orange like the avalanches and i wouldve bought one. the inferno in my opinion is ugly. this carbon flash is about the only other color i would choose from the red jewel tintcoat i had on my coupe that i traded in. that red jewel was stunning also. but hey, everyone has their own opinion, and taste, thats why they offer cars in multiple colors.

the 45th isnt just a stripe and badges. its different (and much better) wheels, red/white/blue stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and shifter, and pearl white door card inserts/dash trim (which looks awesome lit up at night). i did see the 45th stripes on ebay already, they have the two tone grey/red without the "45" built in.

I got the 45th RS in a coupe.. and Love it.. Your SS Conv is awesome.. enjoy it and good luck..
I feel with all the extras you get with the Anniversary Edition, you got to go for it.. the car is loaded.. and lots of fun..
