Cobalt SS vs 2010 Camaro SS??
 

Ok Camaro guys, you should feel ashamed. Over the weekend I had a chance to race a new SS. It was a stick, it had a cold air intake, Trifecta tune, some kind of headers and exhaust, and a bigger throttle body. I dont know much about Camaros but I reckon he was making close to 430WHP. We raced from 40-160 3 times and 0-150 3 times. He never one. From a dig he pulled hard just cause I am FWD and I CANNOT grab the ground to save my life. But at about 120 I caught up quick. From a roll, it wasnt even a competition. So here is my question, I thought the new Camaros were suppose to be really fast out the box?

thats really weird, maybe the driver of the camaro just sucked? i know a couple months ago, before my car starting having opti issues, i smoked a cobalt SS in my 94 z28, i raced him twice and i beat him all the way through both times, he didnt get ahead of me at all. And my brother filmed it from in my car im sure he has the video around somewhere...

Well Ive only had 1 camaro beat me and it was a STS rear mount 99SS. And I raced a STS twin turbo GTO saturday night that supposedly has "550whp" and i beat him too. Im not bragging about my car, its just I did not think that my car could do that and im really surprised at the v8's cause lately they have been disappointing me..
