Exhaust upgrade

I have a 2015 Camaro SS 2SS/RS. It has every option except the 1LE package and Dual Mode exhaust. I am looking to upgrade the Exhaust system and have narrowed it down to three options.
1. Borla S-Type Part#140494 for ZL1/SS/1LE
2. Magnaflow Part#15053 for ZL1/SS/1LE
3. Flowmaster Part#817609 for ZL1/SS/1LE

All of these manufacturers say that theses systems are for ZL1 or SS with 1LE and dual mode exhaust packages only. I would like to know if anyone has put these systems on a Camaro like mine and have had any issues. I believe that it will fit no problem considering the only difference is the suspension. Any advice that all of you could give me would be helpful. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. You might contact each one of the manufacturer and ask them the question.

Thank you for the welcome 73shark. I reached out to Borla and Magnaflow. I got a response from Borla and they said it would not fit. This is my issue with that though. I can order the same exhaust that comes on the Z/28 Camaro directly from Chevrolet and it will just bolt on. If this is the case then why can't I order the Borla exhaust for the Z/28/ZL1 and just bolt it on? I would rather go with an aftermarket manufacturer since they spend way more time on R&D for exhaust systems to get the most power and torque out of them than the car's manufacturer. I was reaching out on this forum for anyone who has had the same dilemma and tried what I am wanting to do already before I spend the money.

I guess Borla and Magnaflow couldn't explain why their system wouldn't fit?

No they wouldn't. Oh well. I'll just order the Z/28 Exhaust from Chevrolet and see how that goes. If it fits well then I will think about ordering the a different one. Thank you for your advice though. I really appreciate it.

I made friends with the parts man at my dealership and consequently he gives me a fairly good discount off of major parts like that. You might try it, it can't hurt.

Have you tried checking out the Corsa? They have exhaust systems for your ride.

iluvchevy,

I did check out Corsa. However, I want the look of the the ZL1 and Z/28 exhaust. I also want to have an X-pipe instead of the stock H-pipe. I think I figured out how to get what I want. I just have to order the Z/28 exhaust manifolds and then the exhaust systems I mentioned in the start of this thread should bolt right on.
