1987 9C1 Cop Impala

I have a stock low mile 350 roller cam motor out of a 1987 Police Impala 9C1. Does anyone know where I can get info such as compression ratio, cam specs, valve sizes, etc for this motor? All info appreciated. Thanks

Thanks go-part. I did see the info on Wiki, but non of the specifics I'm looking for. The "police" Impala motors were supposed to be a little different from the normal passenger car stuff, as I understand it, and came with a different cam, etc.

What I'm looking for is specs for the 87 police motor. Anybody familiar with these special engines or know of a site that might have some info? Thanks

You need the head numbers to determine (partially) what the compression is suppossed to be.

The head casting number is 14101083, which reference to have 64cc chambers and 1.94, 1.50 valves, but as you say, that's partial info since I don't know what pistons are in it.

There's a stamped number on the machined pad at the front of the block (V0321SFA), but I haven't been able to reference much useful info from that. Apparently, the VIN of the car would have been the ticket, but I bought the engine/trans from someone would scraped a wreck and didn't keep the VIN info to pass on.

Hi all, Does anyone have any idea what the specs are on the steering box in an 88 Caprice 9c1? Thanks.
