Rear Washer Sprayer / defroster electrical issues
HI!
I have a 2014 Captiva Sport LT.
Currently my rear wiper motor, sprayer, and control is acting up:
- when i auto start, the rear wiper spray non stop
- Pushing the rear defroster activates the sprayer
- Holding down the rear washer button to clean the window, sprayer and wiper motor is inconsistent and jerky.
What i have tried
- Pulled all the hatch panels off and inspected wiring looms (no obvious fraying observed in pinch points)
- Disconnected plugs and reconnected them (this seemed to have solved the problem for about 1 week, problem has returned)
I do have a BCM code pulled from a reader but wasn't sure if there were any troubleshooting i can perform before throwing in the towel with that specific nightmare. The BCM code has been stored LONG before this symptom started.
