96 Z24 Cavalier Fuel Pressure Regulator

My '96 Z24 Cavalier was idling rough as all hell, and when I pulled the vac line off the Fuel pressure regulator. There was fuel in the vac line telling me the pressure regulator was bad. Oh, it was throwing the random misfire P0300. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and I can not get a good seal with the fuel line connected to the bottom of the regulator and it is dripping fuel. The O ring is there and whatnot. Is there a trick to get a good seal here? I have tried a few times with no luck. Bad seal = P0300 still due to lack of fuel pressure. Injectors are good and replaced the O rings on these as well as all the spark plugs. Some suggestions or trick to get a good seal would be great.

Id suggest using a small hose clamp on the regulator.
