'97 Z24 coolant leak...
 

I have a '97 Z24, and where the radiator hose meets the engine, it's leaking coolant (behind the plastic. After removing the plastic shroud covering the area, there didn't really appear to be any sort of gasket, just an O ring. There's no cracks in the plastic either. After cleaning the area, putting the O ring back, and putting some gasket sealer all around the seam (twice), it's still leaking.

1) Does anyone know what I'm talking about;
2) is there any sort of gasket that goes in this area to stop the problem?
