Ignition wiring bypass
 

Hi everyone.
To make a long story short, I broke my key in my cylinder, destroyed the cylinder trying to get it out. This is in a 98 Cavalier. For about the last year, I've been using a screwdriver to start the car and it's driving me nuts and I'd rather just put a switch on the dash (A on/off for power and a momentary for start).
Does anyone have a wiring diagram as to what color wire does what?

Why not replace the cylinder and do it the right way?

because I don't have $200 for a new one.

You don't need a new one. The junk yards are much cheaper and if you go to the U-Pick yards, they are even cheaper.
