I have never heard of a reverse neutral switch a manual trans. What is wrong with your car that you are trying to replace this part?

I changed the reverse/neutral switch on my '04 about two weeks ago. Same problem with the backup lights not working for no apparent reason. It is located on the trans-axle just behind the drivers front wheel. All I had to do was un-clip a wire and take out the switch with a 3/4 wrench or socket.
