Rough idle /fast idle
 

Hey there,

I have a 1997 Cavalier. Just recently replaces the engine in it with a 2.2 liter that has a little less than 50k miles on it.

Everything seemed fine for about 2k miles, then my problem started.

It will sometimes start fine, then other times won't start unless I feather the throttle. It will want to stall sometimes when I push in the clutch to let it idle, then other times will want to idle around 2,000 rpm's.

From what I can tell reading this forum, I may need to have the ECM reflashed per technical bulletin 04-06-04-063.

I'm really looking for a second opinion, and seeing if I might have missed anything. Anyone with any other ideas out there?
