Joe Self Chevy
To those who hate dealers, I have a good one. Joe Self Chevy in Wichita. The owner of my dealership knows what I've been dealing with on my new 2010 burb and it's lack of ground clearance. And, we've been looking at wheel/tire options to gain some more ground clearance to make it better for off road. So, yesterday he calls me and says he's got a deal for me. Tells me he has a Tahoe on the lot with a set of 9000 mile Goodyear AT tires on it. They are the same size as the street OEM tires that came on the suburban. My OEM tires have 8700 on them. So, he'll swap me even up if I pay 15 bucks a tire for the removal/mount/balance. Done deal. He says, it won't help the clearance issue but if you stick it maybe the AT's will get you out. How's that for a dealer who is looking out for you?
