2006 Cobalt No Inst lights
 

2006 Cobalt has no instrument or a/c control lights. Good fuse, good dimmer control. Radio has lights but does not respond to dimmer. Can this be caused by software. Car sat with a dead battery for a month or so it was then slowly charged while connected.
can this be fixed with out a dealer trip/bill ?
