2007 wont get out of park
 

hi i have read forums on this stating the seloniod could be bad ion the shifter assembly..well i bought the new assembly and put it on and still not shifting out of park..even with my foot on the brake..any ideas what else could be wrong?

k so i looked at fuses and realized one of the brake fuses had blown...replaced started up got out of park and then went into park and it seemed like it wasnt in park due to the fact that it kept going forward in park so i put the parking brake on..and cut car off..then retried the same senirio and the shifter wouldnt budge so any idea why to much voltage is blowing this fuse?
