Truck leans to left

1 Attachment(s)
My 2017 Colorado truck box lean to the left. The passenger side is 7/8 in higher when measured at the black stripe on the bumper. No the bumper is not out of alignment. The dealer says it is an optical illusion. That they are all like that. Needless to say I am disappointed. Is there some place I could take the truck to get this corrected near Englewood, FL?

Look at the other new trucks on the dealers lot and see if they are the same.

I measured about 10 trucks. They all lean to the left about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch. I called Chevrolet and they referred me to the service mgr at the dealership. He agreed the truck leans but didn't think Chevrolet would do anything about it. He also said he would make some calls to see what could be done to resolve the problem. Have not heard back yet.

i'm trying to see this lean but can't. Where should i be looking...the gap between the bumper and tailgate?

I measured the black plastic on each side of the bumper and the wheel well on both sides.

I can't see a wheel well from a rear picture.

The passenger side is higher than the driver side. I doubt if a picture of both sides would help. Basically I'm thinking I will have to shim the driver side axle about a half inch between the spring and axle to make the truck sit level.

hard to comment as i can't see the problem.

changing the ride height on one corner is a bad way to correct a body and bumper alignment problem. makes more sense to do the adjustment where the bed and bumper bolt to the frame.

The bumper is not crooked. Its the box. Tailgate and bumper are parallel. When I look at the back of the truck the top of the tailgate on the passenger side is higher than the driver's side. I only used the bumper as a reference point to get a measurement.

yes and the box mounts to the frame...not the axle
