Please Help !!
 

I have a 2000 k2500 with a 454. The truck will spit and sputter and even spark knock occasionally while driving, not idling. Service engine soon light has come on twice. When I check the code it is a map sensor-low circuit code. I have replaced the map sensor,spark plugs,fuel filter and run some Lucas injector cleaner through it. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to my problem. It acts like its running out of gas. I can drive the truck to the same place under the same conditions and one time it runs like a raped ape and the next time it spits and sputter like it is running out of gas. It will not act this way the whole trip only part of it, usually after it gets warmed up. I am really confused ??? Fuel Pump ??

Did you look at the map sensor wiring and or connector?

What type of exhaust are you running, do you still have the catalytic convertor?
