'86 corvette clutch chatter
 

My '86 has a nasty clutch chatter. It has 4+3 Doug Nash neww/ oem clutch. New u joints on the driveshaft, rebuilt overdrive and no major oil leaks. The chatter only happens once in a while at slow speeds or going down a steep hill.I am wondering if this is a common problem and does anybody have a clue how to resolve the problem?

Just a guess but how about the throwout bearing?

New clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing w/ less than 5,000 miles. The problem only pops up when traveling at low speed or down a steep hill. I might think it will be a bad motor mount. Up for anybody who had same issue.
