C5 night driving light without pop up headlamps

The one thing I have always disliked about the C5 is the pop up headlamps. I found a solution to night driving without popping them up. I replaced the OEM fog light bulbs with LUMEN G7-880 LED bulbs and then adjusted them up for marvelous night driving. Road reflectors can be seen up to a mile ahead, yet they do not blind oncoming drivers. The bulbs are replaced by removing the panels below the fog lamps to get access. Bulbs are a direct replacement with no alterations or wiring changes (plug and play). I tied the LUMEN transformers to nearby structure with nylon tie straps. Height adjustment of the lamps is through hole near the lamps using a torks bit.
