2018 headlight bulbs
My 18 has H7 bulbs for low beam. This is not what the owners manual says or the store. It says h11. Way different. I think
The car was in a frontal as some point. Could they have been changed out for different year headlights and bulbs? The H7 has a difficult clip that holds them in. |
So I took the car to the dealer and they said the headlight assemblies were after market probably from a wreck, thats why they are using the wrong bulb, H7. They must have changed out the harness too. Changing them back to original, which needs to be done, will cost atleast $3000. I got screwed on this used car purchase. The oem lights from the dealer is $600ea plus a $125 core charge.
