Default 302 steel crankshaft longevity (turned down)

Hi Guys, my old man has a 67 SS Chevy II with a 302 SB and crank out of a 69 z8. The motor is built solid with lots of high performance parts geared for RPM's around 55-6500 and has around 400 HP. The problem is, when he sent the crank away to be turned down .0010" (the crank was originally drag raced), the machine shop frigged up and brought it down .0020". So does anyone here know what the longevity of this crank would be? He doesn't drive it hard, and only opens er' up occasionally...but it would be nice to know that you can hammer through the gears every once and a while and not have anything to worry about.
