Hey guys, I'm buying a 1984 Chevy Silverado 4x4, with a rebuilt 350, 214-224 Cam. I am looking to upgrade it to Fuel injected, and was looking at going to a Ram Jet type setup.

The questions I have now are, do you think the Ram Jet would be a good investment to get good performance out of it, or would I be better off just trying to fuel inject it and not go the Ram Jet route.

Second question would be, which ever route I choose, say like the Ram Jet, I will need an ECM right?? ANd I was reading up and seeing that the LS1 works good with the 350 Ram Jets, and I guess what I'm asking is, what will I need with the setup to make it run, and get the best performance out of it??

another great option is the TPI setup found in camaros and firebirds. find a donor for motor, ecm, wiring harness, easy swap. or the Vortec found on trucks.

Painless Wiring also makes wiring kits that are easy.

With that second link you sent is that ecu tuneable with hp tuners? Cause I would like to be able to tune the truck with hp tuners if possible.
