Talking Chevy C10 Cam Recommandation

Hi everyone !

I am currently rebuilding a 283 bored .030 over for a 1985 C10. (3.42 rear end/29'' tires/Muncie SM465

The engine is completly rebuild and ready to assemble

Heres are the spec;

-Stock unported Brand new Vortec head from GM (yes i know they won't handle past .475 lift)

-Around 9.5:1 compression

-Dual plane slightly raised intake

-Rochester Q-jet Carburetor

-Single Exhaust ''log'' manifold for now but will be going to header and dual eventually.

-Redline will be 6k

Its mostly ready to assemble but i've been battling for several months on what cam I am gonna put in this thing.

Im not sure yet if I will retrofit it to a roller cam (Reliability) but I would like to.
