Default Finding TDC

I have recently replaced the freeze plugs on my '87 V10 5.7l and reinstalled the engine. I am trying to manually turn over the engine by the crank to find TDC but it won't budge and I am afraid to snap off the head of the bolt and create more problems. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I should do next?

You bump start it with the starter. Just turn the key real quick and release so it just moves a bit.
