simplest things would be exhaust, headers and cold air intake.
if u live in a non emissions area, u could gut the cat (but i cant recomend it

pill off the TBI, buy a rebuild kit, and go to work with an air die grinder and a carbide bit, smooth out all the imperfections and just do a general cleanup on it, do not remove the throttle blades as they are hard to set back up this usually give better throttle response, shotr of dropping in a cam and buying a chip, this is your best bet

You could just get a higher stall torque converter and that way you can use more of your upper band. Also, might have a problem with your gearing being inadequate. You could increase the ratio to get into your power band quicker.

Honestly, the best way to figure this out would be to have someone who has done it before show you or look up videos on youtube so that instead of trying to figure out what someone is talking about you can see it and learn it visually. It helped me a lot. It's not hard to attach the top end to a 350. I did it and I'm a dolt.

If everything is stock then you dont have a TH350. Maybe if this was some underperformer mid size Nova from the mid-70s, but for a 1995 this has a 4L60-E transmission.

Since this motor is a rebuilt one from 1973, let me ask you if you replaced the camshaft. Weak camshaft gives weak thrust. 1973 was the 1st year for emission controls and last year for leaded fuel, so they normally came with limp cams, seriously detuned and lower compression ratios. Would have been easier to modify the original engine especially considering the pollution control devices. Look in the high performance daily driver side of JEGS. They make a nice camshaft for tow vehicles which gives plenty of low-rpm power. And mate that with a rear-end under 4.10 and you should be able to peel off strongly.

i put the turbo 350 in it the other transmission was bad. i will def. look up the cam though thanks for that. anyone have any head sugestions i have heard 305 heads will give low end torque but need to be atleast 68cc or compression will be to high. so if anyone can point me in a good direction on the heads that would be great thanks
