Default Need Help Identifying My Motor

I have a Chevrolet 350 that I am looking to better understand its HP, type heads, cam. etc. I am going to install it in my 1957 Nomad.I have been told, by the original owner, that it is a Chevrolet 350 replacement truck motor that was purchased from Chevrolet in 1996 or 1997. The heads have the two center bolts, where the intake bolts on, that are straight up and down. The intake has 12 bolt holes, in total, to bolt on the intake manifold. The heads are part number 14102193 and also have the following markings; D0247, GM66, mfg date falls between a 2 and a 3.The Block Casting Number is 40268880The Block Casting Date is 06219The Engine Assembly date/Suffix Code is printed on a paper tag and when I wiped it so that I could read it some of the numbers disappeared. I can make out the following; VC01 34(If I scrape it off, should a stamped number be under it?)There are also the following makings on the block:880878GM 5.7 LGSMCOI appreciate any help that you can provide.

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot, Dude.
It might be easier to just take it apart and see what you are sitting on. You don't have any receipts, obviously. That's a little odd the original owner couldnt' tell you more than that.
