Old style 454 LS7

Hi all, first time on forum and looking for a some advice. I have a 454 LS7 (T0414XCH) that I purchased new in the crate in 1982. I have had it in a 70 Monte Carlo all these years. The motor has never been apart and remains pretty much the way it came besides upgraded pushrods rockers and timing chain. It is the iron head version and has been bullet proof, a real testament to how they built these things back in the day. I raced it for quite a few years with a best time of 12.03 @ 119 mph. I'm sure I could have dipped well into the 11,s with somebody other than me tuning. My question is what would be the best way to make this motor more street able without bastardizing it too much. It has the original 12.5:1 compression, solid lifter cam etc. Race fuel is waaay to expensive these days in Canada, I believe last year it was like $12 a gallon? Thanks for any input

Brad
