Hello all, this is my first time on the forums. I am in the process of building a SBC 350 for my Wagon. I am looking to get mild-moderate performance out of it (400-500 HP), and I need a little bit of help.

These get decent enough HP with big cams, but that’s the issue.

I live in Oregon, where my car still has to go through DEQ. I am thinking that I will not be able to run anything more than a mild cam in order for it to pass emmisions. But, I want at least 400 HP out of it.

Could you guys help me figure out a compromise to get good performance while still being able to squeeze through Oregon emmision testing?
