hey guys i bought a 92 chevy 1500 with a 4.3 non vortec v6. it currently has an automatic trans, but heres the kicker i just came across another 4.3 with a 5 speed manual trans its out of a 91 s10 that was totaled, i plan on building that motor up and dropping that motor trans combo into my 1500, i know most people go with a v8 but i just want to do something different. so i was wondering if you guys could give me your opinions on the best modifications for my new motor before i drop it in my truck. i already know that the EFI has to go for a carburated setup.

They make good intakes , headers ,heads and cams for the 4.3 . look thru a summit or jegs and see what you can find. Good luck

well i found a good set of heads from brodix. and i know that the 4.3 can handle the same pistons as a 350 v8, im hoping lunati has a few good cams for the 4.3 i definately like lunati.
