I have looked extensively for information about this transmission and servicing without much success. Oddly, the owners manual does not show a dipstick, but there is one. I found a video of servicing an equinox with a different engine and not having the same trans. My big question is about the mystery of what is so complicated about servicing it and why it must go to the dealer? It has a drain and it has a fill with a dipstick, I drained the oil and put in the same as I drained, I know it was not a total fluid replacement, but I only have 60,000 miles. I did the gear boxes also the diff with proper oil. Anyone have the info??? or,,, know where to find it? This is AWD, 6cyl engine, 2011.
