I'm having the same problems with my 06', never thought to check the wiring between the door and frame.

Smile Driver's power window inoperative

I have the same issue with my 2008 equinox. I thought I would need to change out the motor while I am replacing the broken door handle. I thought I would check the circuit breaker first, then I saw this. I now know to check the wires. I think Chevrolet must have known this would be a issue. Just by reading this thread you can see that, plus I have had other Equinox owners tell me they have the same problem. Chevrolet should recall and fix this engineering mistake. To all you guys Thank You for possibly saving me hundreds of dollars! My only question if what do I need to shrink the tubing. Will a blow dryer work?
