poor acceleration

I own a 2019 Chev. Equinox Premier 2.0 AWD vehicle. Driving home last evening on the interstate, my car seemed to lose
power and could not accelerate. Could the transmission slipped into Neutral? When I come up to a traffic light, I shifted into PARK. and then back
to Drive. When the traffic light changed, it shifted into gear and go home with no other issues. All indicators in the dash were normal. Anyone else experience this?
Appreciate any info before taking it in.
Thanks.

Welcome from Florida. Check your transmission fluid level before doing anything else.

My thought too. However, this vehicle does not have a way for the owner to check the transmission fluid.
The manual says to take the car to the dealer.

Yeah - my wife's Subaru is the same way. I think most car makers are considering these AWD vehicles to have a sealed transmission. In the case of Subaru, the only way to check and add fluid is through a plug about halfway up the body of the transmission, up above one side of the transmission pan. Only way to do that is having it up on jack stands or better yet a lift.
