how can i get the speakers activated in the back seat of an equinox 2013

Are you referring to the speakers in the rear doors? If so, I don't know what you mean by getting them "activated." AFAIK there wasn't a way to have them deactivated to begin with, unless this is an option with fleet vehicles that I'm unaware of. If this is the case, you'll probably need to go to the dealership.

Of course I'm assuming that you already tried adjusting the fader in the radio. If this is a vehicle you recently acquired, it's possible that both rear speakers are just blown and need to be replaced.
