Someone Please Help!!! Need Help!!!! 2007 Equinox

i have a 2007 equinox lt fwd. on friday my wife was driving it and the powersteering went out. luckily it was at her job so we justleft it and i am going to get it today i am going to drive it home. i have a few questions one is will i cause any damage by driving it the 14 miles? next is i hear alot of people with this same problem and they say it could be the mega fuse but i am not sure how it could just blow. i have never jumped it or any one else. it has 68000 miles and i am just not sure whats going on someone please help. thanks in advance

i would say 14 miles should be ok. just go easy on it. as far as fuses, they can just burn out for no reason. it happens.

so i mean will the truck be ok or will it cause more damage to the power steering some how. also does it sound like it could be the mega fuse. also it looks like the mega fuse is bolted in is that correct.

i would hit up a parts store on the way down, see if they have the fuse you need. it's probably under the hood, in the fuse box there. it may not be bolted in. just a big fuse you pull out and replace.

read thru this thread. i would hesitate against driving it since power steering is electronic (i didn't know that. sorry) try to get a hold of the fuse.
