How do I fix misfiring
#21
Is there a thing called to clean the injector. If not how would I check to see if it’s not firing? Anyone got repair how to fix or any good aftermarket injectors they can recommend?

you check by swapping them. For example if you put the #5 injector in cylinder #6, and then the misfire counts go down on #5 and up on #6, then the injector is bad.
The fact that it's on the back of the engine makes me also suspect an intake gasket. you could try spraying some starting fluid around there to see if there's a vacuum leak.

rockauto sells re-manufactured OEM ones which could be good, but I haven't tried them myself.
Before you start digging though, visually confirm you have good spark on #5

it might help if it's dirty, but not if it's failed. Check for spark first.

did you inspect the spark plug as mmj suggested? These years of equinox had misfires on cylinder 5 due to cracked ceramic insulator on the spark plug. this would also lead to carbon tracking on the plug wire. post a pic of the plug
