1985 o2 sensor and ccc quadrajet? 305

So I've been reading up on the ccc quadrajets and the previous owner of my van did a half-assed emmisions delete and gutted the egr and cat. I'm trying to make a my van as reliable as possible so I bought a remanufactured quadrajet from guaranteed carburetor and it runs great out of the box and my harness hooked right up to it and it seems to do okay. But it seems like it is getting richer as the air gets warmer. (Go figure) but I found out these run off of sensors in the throttle and an OČ sensor on the driver's side. I found pictures or the manifold and it seems to be exactly the same as mine but doesn't even have a port for an OČ sensor and it looks like the original manifild

Was 1985 a year it didn't have them?
Did the previous owner swap it out?
With my carburetor will I need to install one for it to work properly?

Take a look at the choke plate, is it open with the engine warm?

My choke plate opens up fine as it warms up the carb has a pretty solid tune on it but I'm making sure it is getting all of it's data it needs before I start tinkering with it since it is a hybrid carb. I also know I need a camshaft and my distributor could use some work .
