1988 G-20 oil pressure

My van in the last week seems to be losing oil pressure. It has gone from 40lbs to almost nothing according to the factory gauge on the dash. Where is the sending unit and is there a way to test it? I'm not hearing any valve noise or the sound of metal to metal in the engine.

Ground the wire, if the guage pegs to full its a bad sending unit.

The sending unit had 2 wires. Not sure which one to ground. The sending unit was only $9.99 + tax so I replaced it. I will test drive it this morning. My Wife's Blazer is on it's last leg so we have to get rid of it and find her something new.

Not a problem anymore. Got a different van.

Replacement van is a 1994 G-20 with 92,000 miles. Love it so far.
