How can I disconnect the torque converter control solenoid to see if it fixes my problem.? It stalls whenever it is put in gear .

any trouble codes?

Nope, and can’t drive it to see if any come up.
Sounds like converter is locked when put it in gear and try and give gas quickly.

wonder if you can just remove the main plug from the trans and seeing if it still stalls. i know my 1991 4l80e you could still drive it in 1st and 2nd without the computer hooked up
