2002 express 5,7 won't start when it rains

Hello , i have a 2002 chevy express that won't start when it rains.

The engine turns and cuts as if the power was going away. When i say it cut i mean the starter stops for a fraction of a second with the lights going down in the dash board. Last time i waited for a few warm days and it starded back .

could it be a bad ground or or maybe water on the ecu the driver side? I have all the stuff to do my tune up but i see it cuting power to the starter and dash i wounder what the f... it could be.

thanks in advance

Jean-Pierre

When the starter motor is bad, it turns over slowly with a pause between cranks as it fights the engine over TDC. That might be what you are describing. I replaced my starter on my 2002 and never had a similar issue since. Of course load test your battery first, and check all your main grounds and so on.
