Default 2002 express ls. Falling fuel economy.

Hi all.

New to this forum. So I thought I would start things with a question....

I have a 2002 express passenger with the 5.7 vortec. I bought it at 100kms, and now it has 170000kms. Over the last year or so, I have noticed the fuel economy getting gradually worse.

On the hwy, it used to get about 16 or so, and now its down to 14 and the city mileage went from 15 to just under 13. I know those aren't big numbers, but nothing has changed, so why is the economy?

I have put in a new fuel filter and fuel pump, cap, rotor, spark plugs, and camshaft position sensor.

Maybe its me just being picky...lol. But my last 2 mileage checks were 12.8 mpg...and that just sucks.

Has anyone else noticed a dip in economy and found a fix?

Thanks all.
