Default 2005 Chevy Express 1500 Rear Heating/ A/C

Hi guys!
I have noticed that there is a rear climate unit in my van, at the back on the left side. I was wondering what's in the unit? From what I found so far, there's an auxiliary rear A/C evaporator.

Do you know if there is also a heating core or anything else that uses coolant and is related to the engine cooling system?

Thanks for your time and cheers,
L-P

Thanks mountainmanjoe! When you say same as the front unit, does it mean it's an heater core and a a/c evaporator that are two separate units (photo 1 for the heater core) or a unit that contains both (photo 2)?

Thanks again and have a great day,
L-P

I don't know what it looks like inside. All I know is that it heats and cools. The coolant and refrigerant lines are quite close together thought like in your last image. You can see them if you duck under your van.

Why?
