Hey Guys,

I've recently purchased a 2014 Express 2500 that I'm having Quigley's in PA convert to 4x4. They couldn't give me specs on what size tires would fit without lifting it (or with lifting it) for liability reasons.

Does anyone know what the max size tire that fits a stock van is?

I'd like the van to look just like the red van on the link below.

Can that look be achieved without a lift? Maybe a leveling kit?

The member on here by the name of Jet Unit has a lifted van. Search for his posts or contact him. He had trouble with the slider door hitting the rear tire.

Make sure the wheels you use are the right offset. I think Jet's wheels had his tires out way too much.
Any good custom tire shop should be able to tell you what the wheel wells will fit, plus you will have a couple extra inches from the lift.
Don't forget good mud flaps, the trailing edge of the front wheels will sand blast the paint off the lower panel.

That red van looks to have a lift kit on it. You may be able to go with a LT265/75/16 tire with out a lift. If I was in you situation and spending 10-12gs on a 4x4 conversion I'd go with the lift kit from Quigley for $2500. Unless your wife/girlfriend is riding/driving the van the lift would be a no brainier, your tire and wheel choices get much better. You could go to a 285/70/16, or jump rim sizes and go 295/60/20s. Are you using this van for the brewery? Go big, attract attention. We want pics when you get it back from Q's.

On anther note, a lift will limit the van with parking garages, and some drive trough's.

Thanks a lot for the responses. All great info! I had a feeling we were going to want the 3" lift - was just looking to see if there was a cheaper option. Will post photos when the work is done. Looking at about 12 weeks from now.
