Default '98 Express Van rear axle ratio?

Hi

Can someone help me find out where I can identify my rear axle ratio?
I need this for my local authorities in view of setting towing capacity...

By the way is there any on-line documentation with official Chevy values for towing capacities?

Thanx a million

There should be a code sticker with your RPO codes somewhere on the truck.
Here's a link

Generally you would narrow it down to just a few anyway.
The most popular ratios are 3.08 3.42 3.73 and 4.10 for most trucks.
