Default abs & front wheel bearings

I have a 2001 express 3500. 130 k mi. abs lite on when i brake w/ wheels turned left or right. & the brakes pulse. dealer says sensors are bad & appears that wheels have somehow damaged sensors or wires due to location of sensors or wires. anyone heard of that? also say sensors are badly rusted {they just did oil & lube 2 weeks ago is that a coincidence}also are the front wheel bearings repackable as a regular maintenance item on this model?. dealer wants $ 700 to replace sensors & ck & pack bearings. this is my 2nd express & am for most part happy with them . thanks

I just replaced my front brake rotors. It looked like the ABS sensors were encased in plastic, and know they are expensive to replace. When I replaced the rotors I also replaced the brake pads and wheel bearings. The wheel bearings were reasonably priced from Pep Boys, and easy to replace.
