aftermarket dvd/navi-no auto dim or nite mode
I have a 2004 express 1500 conversion. I replaced my failed pioneer dvd/navi unit with a sony dvd/navi unit (xnv-770bt). used the gmos-01 module to keep chimes ect. hooked up all the wires. Everything works except the radio doesn't auto dim and the navi unit doesn't switch to night mode with headlights turned on. The pioneer unit did the same thing. The pioneer was in the vehicle when I bought it so I don't know if it ever worked. I guess what i'm asking does the gm harness have a wire that should hook to the org/wht illumination wire on the radio or not available. Thanks in advance
