Anyone know where I can get the correct Center Console for my 2001 G3500 Cutaway?

Here is a link, on this forum, with more info on what I'm looking for and why mine might be different than a normal Express Van.

I did not realize how important this thing is and I need one to help finish off my G3500 Toy Hauler Project.
If you have not already seen it, I have a thread here about my project.

Thank you,
Tony

Try your local junk yard or Ebay.

Thank you. I should have stated that I've tried over 20 salvage yards that have trucks / Vans.
I've tried some in AZ, CA, CO, a couple in MI and Ontario Canada and Brandywine use truck parts in MD (that I use to use decades ago), .
I've also tried online and eBay and I'll keep looking.

My hope is that someone might personally know of a place or have even seen some Cutaways in a salvage yard while they happen to be there for other reasons.

Also Pick and Pulls - won't look and most can't tell you what they have.
Or at least that is what I found out calling them.

I must have looked at 10 of them when I was in the yard for a tank for my 2002. I even found one with the pocket they replaced the glove box with, not broken, a dude was out looking for one of those and missed this one because it was loose on the floor.

They're not expensive but the shipping will kill you.

U-pull yards now usually have an online inventory, after that you gotta go look.

I just want the darn console. I don't really care about shipping. The engine cover on my G3500 seems different than most Express van ones.
The only time I used the truck so far was driving home from the mid west where I purchased it.
But I'm close to finishing the build of my Toy Hauler and I want to be able to enjoy using it.
Not having a place for my drink, my cell phone, change for tolls, my maps and so on; was a real pain.
I never knew how important that thing was. Grin

For some reason I thought yours was the 03-up one. I think they crushed the one 02 I was picking bits from. PM me your zip code and I'll see if I can figure out how many arms and legs to ship.

William,

Thank you. Did you check out the link to my wanted thread?
It has pictures and detail info about my engine cover and how it seems different than most I've seen online.
As for my zip - I have a US one and it's 13669 Ogdensburg, NY...

WANTED: Center Console for a 2001 Chevy G3500 Cutaway with a Diesel

Ogdensburg is almost close enough to drive to. I'll check the wanted post and see what the differences are.

William,
Thank you. Where are you?
FYI - I don't live in Ogdensburg, NY - It's my US Mailing Address, so I don't have to pay the high fees to have stuff shipped to Canada.
Once the Covid-19 travel restrictions are lifted; I have to go to a good number of states - picking up stuff that I already purchased last year. Grin
