Big Problem with wipers!
 

Our fleet of Express Vans seem to have a re-occurring problem with the wipers. The Connection from the wiper linkage to the motor Ball and socket (socket on linkage is PLASTIC) Fails when using the wipers on HI in heavy rain. Taking the valence off and popping it back together until it happens again. Has happened on 4 of our vans, one a 2011, one a 2008, an 2006 and 2005.

Seriously thinking this should be a recall...anyone have this issue?

there is a special tool to clip them into place. if you press them in by hand they just pop out when the wipers have to move a snow load..etc. If they still pop out even with the tool; new linkage is required.
