Is it an Express 1500, 2500 or 3500

I've looked long and hard on the internet but have not found the answer.
I have a Chevrolet Express 1999. 5.7ltr Limited SE
What does the 1500 etc mean?

Half ton chassis.
5.7 is the 350 v8
Check your option code sticker and you can find out all the options and standard equip it has from the dealer.
Not sure about the limited. Is it a passenger?

1500,2500,3500,4500 refer to the model van. The numbers themselves have no actual value... its just a model number.

The higher the series the higher your payload: bigger brakes, heavier tires, springs, etc. It has noting to do with the size of the van or engine.

Some vans have the number badges on the doors.

Great stuff. Its a passenger day van. I'll have a look at the payload in the morning. Many thanks for the quick response
