Forward Lamp Harness change from LS to LT?

I need to replace the grill, headlights and radiator mount on my 2007 Chevy Express LS 1500 after an accident. I'd like to replace them with the LT model grill and composite headlights but the local Chevy dealer parts dept. could not tell me if the wiring harness could be swapped from the LS model sealed beam headlight to the LT model composite headlights. Any help?

I would guess that if the harness is different, that it wold not be too difficult to split the wires and splice in a connector from the auto wrecker....
A repair manual like haynes or chiltons would have wiring diagrams....
...there may also be aftermarket connectors for just such an upgrade....

I did this on my '06. If I recall, I just probed the wires on the stock harness to find ground, high+ and low+ then wired up the new sockets from there. It was pretty easy to figure out if you are handy.

I did buy a set of connectors for the original bulbs, and a set for the new style, so I could just make a harness that plugged in, but I ended up ordering the plugs from China and it took a month to get here. So I ended up just cutting, soldering, and heat shrinking it together.
