Welcome. One of my good friends is a Kratochvil from Damborice.

How are EU headlights different from US? I know that turn signals are a different color.

I imagine that operationally they will be different, as they are different between the US and Canada. For example, as a Canadian my Driving Lights come on automatically if the parking brake is released and I cannot shut them off. Not without parking the van and putting the brake on. Otherwise, I know of no difference.

Sounds like he's looking for the lights themselves and not the programming. Hopefully he can clarify.

(By the way, you should be able to turn yours off by twisting the **** to off. They will turn off until the vehicle starts moving again for a few seconds.)

Hi, diferent betwen US and EU version of this headlights is in " E " mark on glas of this light, for example " E 11 " mark in left down corner.
I bought my car and this is The biggest problem with registration in Germany - headlights whitout E mark.

I see on Wikipedia that the Express was sold as an ambulance in the Netherlands. So maybe the dealer has the proper headlights. Did you talk to them?

Hi,
it`s not only the "e" on the device.
We have in Germany asymetric headlights.
The low-beam is on the right side 15 degrees higher and so it is possible to see objects at the right side of the street earlyer.
I think in USA You have symetric headlights, isn`t it ?
There is no chance for registration with symetric beams.
On my G20, the preowner had to convert from sealed beam to Hella asymetric, disconect
yellow parking lights and change it to white bulbs in the beamhousing.
Another thing is the rear flashlight, it has to be yellow and only for oldtimer it is allowed to use rear red flasher.
20 years ago, I had to paint the rear red sidemarker in black, because it was not legal to use it only as reflector.
Silly old Germany.....

You can't have symmetrical lights because it would blind oncoming traffic. But I think that's just a matter of adjusting a screw right?

It also is the actual reflector that aims light up on the correct side, but keeps light aimed forward low. My old Honda motorcycle does the same, but with only the one H/L.
