Installing a Nexus 7 in my Savana

Hi...

Got a new project I was thinking of doing..

I'm gonna install a Nexus 7 instead of the original CD player...
But some questions came as usual when you start doing something..

Does the van have a own amplifier or is it in the CD player?
If there is an amplifier somewhere where is it located?

Anyone done this? If so a link or some pics would be much appreciated..

I've had this idea, then I decided to just buy a tablet mount. I have a very good one I may sell at some point. My problem was getting the sound to the radio. It all worked well otherwise until one day the tiny custom bracket attaching the mount to the van snapped. Too much vibration. The mount is great though, I've been waiting to finisn my interior before deciding whether to use it a different way.

Since it snapped, I bought an Android Radio. If you go this route, study the specs. I like it, but I try to keep permanent data off of it. You're Nexus project is interesting, it has advantages, but it might be easier to go a different route. Post lots of pics.

Hi again long time I know but now I'm getting started.

Had to ditch the Nexus tablet, it froze from time to time??

The Kinter Amp is just for the front speakers...
The usb is 500gb not sure this works but lets try it...
The usb charger is 2100mA dual connection..
The usb dac is for better music quality, also for rca pluggs.
The usb dac should work on android 4.4.2 but some mods need to be done. If it was android 5.0 and above it would just been plug and play

More to come..
